Seeking Authors
Are you a massage therapist who has made it through massage school and are on your way to building a successful massage business? Are you starting your career working for a clinic or franchise? Are you jumping right into starting your own business? Have you tried a few things that didn’t work even and still are confident that you can make it?
Do you love sharing what you know with others and being a mentor to other massage therapists? Do you want to learn how you can make money being a mentor and sharing your real life experiences as a massage therapist?
Then I am looking for you!
I am currently seeking authors to help develop this site into the largest online massage journal that is focused on every aspect of starting and running a massage business and including any and all types of massage businesses. It won’t be the usual type of articles but more of an online journal of your process. I want to show others what can be done. I want to show others that it takes commitment and perseverance to be successful in this career but that anyone can do it if they have a mind to!
You don’t have to be a professional writer. You just need to write articles in the same way you would talk to people in real life. The one requirement is that each article must have an article summary that includes a few steps that someone could start taking immediately after they read the article! Simple!
I’ll teach you the rest! I’ll be teaching you how to promote your profile and articles so that you can get paid for the time you spend writing. The first few months will be free for readers to view (or I might try Adsense Ad Revenue Sharing where you will share in adsense income with other authors). After we get a supply of articles and authors and 100 daily visitors, I will be changing it into a paid subscription site where massage therapists will pay a minimal fee (somewhere between $25-$50 a year as far as I know now) and I will split the fee with you when someone joins through your special link that will be in your profile and articles. It will all be handled through Clickbank.com where they will track and pay you directly!
Articles can be as long as you would like and on any topic related to the business of massage. I will supply suggestions for topics that you can choose from if you need ideas. I will also be showing you by example how to write and give you ideas to put into your articles. You can write an article on the same topic as someone else because you will have a uniquely different aspect! You can also promote your own coaching or teachings through the articles. You can even learn to be a mentor to others and charge for your services. You can write about your favorite book or product and refer people to affiliate sites to buy those products and keep those earnings yourself.
Eventually, this will be a paid membership site where you will be able to make money referring people for memberships. (If I do try the Google Adsense sharing concept and it works I might decide to keep it.!) I will teach you everything you need to do about referring people to this site including using your website, article marketing and Facebook to build traffic. It will involve a very minimal amount of time. When all the authors just do a little bit to promote their own page, it will help others succeed too.
I will also be the editor of this site and encourage you in your writing to write so that the massage therapist (reader) will be able to understand your concepts and implement them easily into their business. I will be sending you a regular newsletter with ideas and encouragement and other tips!
It want people to cover any and all types of massage businesses – mobile massage, sports massage, medical massage, spa massage, pregnancy massage, hospital based massage, geriatric massage, hospice massage and anything else but will not focus on the techniques. You can include massage marketing ideas, getting and retaining clients, using different social media groups, how to talk to clients, learning to promote yourself, getting over your fears of success and other concepts related to starting and building a massage business! I want the real stories on how you did it -even the things you did that didn’t work. Because it is more of a journal – I want the thought processes that are behind your decisions and actions! I think it is important to start sharing those things with other massage therapists to help make the massage profession make the next leap into the future!
